Types of Project Submittals
Public water system (PWS) and domestic wastewater projects require multiple types of submittals to the TCEQ, other jurisdictions, or the client including, but not limited to,

Exception Requests (i.e. Variance) - submitted to the TCEQ Technical Review and Oversight Team (TROT)

Plans and Specifications for New or Upgraded Equipment - submitted to the TCEQ Plan Review Team (PRT)

As-Built Documentation including "Step 2" (approval to use well) - submitted to the TCEQ Plan Review Team (PRT)

Contact Time (CT) Studies - submitted to the TCEQ Texas Optimization and Response Team (TORT)

Groundwater Availability Certification (GAC) for Platting - submitted to the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ)

Water Quality (WQ) permits (new, major, minor, technical review) - submitted to the TCEQ Domestic Wastewater Permitting Section

Assessment / Compliance Inspection - these are typically prepared for the Client

Exception requests (ER), Plans & Specifications (P&S), and As-Builts account for the bulk of the submittals. In addition, the TCEQ has defined review periods for these submittals.
